The board and your objective
Brick Bloom starts with twenty-four bricks in four rows and gives you three lives. Clear every brick to win. Each broken brick awards ten points, so a complete clear is worth 240 points in this version. Your task is to keep the ball above the bottom of the board using the paddle. The attractive colors do not represent separate armor levels: a hit removes an active brick.
Track where the ball will arrive
Use Left and Right or A and D, drag on the board, or hold the touch controls to move the paddle. Watch the ball’s direction and anticipate where it will cross the paddle’s height. Chasing its current position can leave you a step behind, especially after a side-wall bounce. Near the sides, allow for the ball reflecting before it reaches you. Start this run is separate from loading the game, giving you time to read the controls first.
Use the paddle to shape the next bounce
Where the ball meets the paddle affects its horizontal velocity. A hit near the center produces a straighter return, while an off-center contact gives it more sideways movement. First prioritize a safe return; then experiment with offset contacts to reach bricks that a repetitive path misses. Trying for a dramatic angle while the ball is already difficult to catch can cost a life for little benefit.
Keep a simple rhythm
After clearing part of the wall, the remaining bricks may be spread across the board. Continue tracking each descent rather than assuming the previous bounce will repeat. Losing a ball costs a life and returns a new ball to a starting position; the run’s remaining bricks stay part of that challenge. If your attention slips, pause with P or the on-screen Pause button. A short pause is safer than letting the next ball drop while you look away.
Finish, restart and keep your best
The game ends successfully when all bricks are gone, or ends in a loss when the last life is used. Restart resets the run while preserving the browser’s local best score. A fresh visit begins a new active run, not a ball frozen at its previous position. There are no secret multi-ball items or extra-life cheats in this version. For a first clear, consistent returns matter more than trying to finish at maximum speed.
